Whether you're dusting off the pieces after years away or chasing a higher rating, Muswell Hill Chess Club has a place for you. We're a friendly, welcoming group of players who meet every Tuesday from 7pm at the Clissold Arms on Fortis Green - a great pub, and the perfect setting for a good game.
We cater for all abilities from post-beginner upwards, with a relaxed atmosphere for casual play alongside real competitive opportunities. For those who want more than a friendly game, we run an internal club championship and field teams in the Middlesex League, both ECF rated. Whatever your ambitions over the board, you'll find players at the right level to challenge you.
